Pottery Classes are held at Busy Bee Ceramics which is run by Brenda McGinn and located in Glaslough Village, a 5 minute walk from The Lodge at Castle Leslie Estate. Brenda and her team have a shop and also provide onsite pottery classes for individuals and groups. They make all the pottery themselves including the pottery you are painting which makes it a truly Irish product. They have ranges of pottery – “Strawberries & Cream”, “Bragan Blue ” (named after the local Bragan bog) and their new “Vintage Blue”. Brenda has designed her products around tableware and has created bespoke products. All her pieces are individually made from high fired stoneware clay making them durable and perfect to use in the dishwasher, oven, and microwave.
When you visit her pottery studio you get to become a potter and learn something brand new! It’s a great way to spend a day with family and friends.
