Equestrian Centre Yard Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to take up our full-time Yard Manager position at Castle Leslie Equestrian Centre. Main duties will include teaching and running the yard.  The successful candidate must have energy, a can do attitude and a flexible approach to working hours (weekend work applies).  4-5 years experience in the same or similar role is essential. Candidate must hold a BHSAI qualification, a full driving license and a relevant degree is desirable but not essential.

Riding Instructors

Main duties will include teaching and working the yard.  The successful candidates must have energy, a can do attitude and a flexible approach to working hours (weekend work applies).  Experience is essential. Candidate must hold a BHSAI Stage 2 or 3 qualification.

Head Banqueting Chef

Reporting to the Executive Chef, the successful candidate will oversee the daily operations and running of the Banqueting Department.  You are required to maintain and achieve a high standard of food quality, preparation and production and demonstrate the highest levels of catering professionalism, customer service and have a positive attitude in everything you do.  You must be an energetic and capable individual with an emphasis on customer focus, revenue and profit generation, have a genuine passion for food and the hospitality industry, possess a strong work ethic and a commitment to harmonious team working, hold excellent communication, influencing and leadership skills.

Banqueting Manager

Working with the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, the successful candidate will oversee the daily operation of the Banqueting department including scheduling rosters, end of day reports, lodgements, orders, and monthly stock takes.  You will recruit, train, roster, lead and motivate your team to optimise customer engagement, ensuring all visitors experience an authentic taste.  You will be a team builder and team player who empowers and coaches your team to deliver excellent service and standards at all times.  You work with the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to deliver a first class service in all events and ensure statutory and best practice compliance for all Food & Beverage operations throughout the Estate.  In addition you will manage & oversee Food & Beverage stocks, transfer sheets, reconciliation & waste logs, plus perform any additional duties that may be assigned by your Manager as this role evolves.   A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience is required in a similar role in a 4 or 5 star background.

Restaurant Manager – Snaffles Restaurant

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager/Deputy General Manager, The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for the management of all aspects of our Fine Dining Restaurant “Snaffles”, in accordance with our exceptionally high hotel standards. The Restaurant Manager will direct, implement and maintain a service and management philosophy which serves as a guide to respective staff.  The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for budgeting and forecasting, overseeing rostering, ensuring guest satisfaction with the goal of operating in an efficient and affective flexible manner.  Time management, prioritising and the ability to multi task is essential.  The Restaurant Manager will be passionate about the industry and possess a fantastic “can do” attitude, accustomed to providing 5* standards, whilst ensuring that all team members are constantly doing so in a bid to ensure that guest expectations are exceeded at every opportunity.

Food & Beverage Supervisor

We have a new vacancy for a Food & Beverage Supervisor reporting to the Food and Beverage Manager.  The ideal candidate will have the ability to work on their own initiative and also as part of a team.  This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, enthusiastic person who possesses excellent presentation, customer service and communication skills, with the ability to achieve exceptional standards at all times.  Previous experience essential.

Full-Time and Part-time Restaurant, Bar and Waiting Personnel:

Castle Leslie Estate is seeking motivated, friendly and customer focused candidates to join their award winning team. No experience is necessary as full training will be provided.

Chef de Partie

We are seeking a full-time Chef de Partie to become part of our talented and award winning team.  A passion for food and a positive attitude are a must for this role.  You will need to demonstrate that you have the ability to work in a high volume, excellent quality catering business and bring a wide range of skills to ensure that food is served to the highest standards that we expect.

Commi Chefs

Castle Leslie Estate is offering these exciting roles to individuals with a passion for food.  You will work under the direct supervision of the Executive Head Chef and his team.  You will assist in all aspects of the kitchen and food preparation.  Experience is an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.

Kitchen Porters

We are seeking two full-time Kitchen Porters to become part of our talented and award winning team. A diligent and positive attitude are a must for this role.  You will need to demonstrate that you have the ability to work under pressure, in a busy environment. You will be required to complete tasks in the kitchen such as cleaning, washing up and basic food preparation.  Previous experience is preferable but not essential as full training will be provided.

Spa Therapists

We are seeking fully qualified aestheticians and body therapists with a minimum of two years’ experience in a spa or salon. The successful candidates must be able to work off their own initiative, have excellent customer service skills and be able to work as part of a team. These roles involve weekend work. It would be an advantage if qualified in the field of alternative therapies but not essential as full training will be provided.

Receptionist

This is a challenging opportunity for a talented and highly motivated individual.  The successful candidate must have energy, a can do attitude and a flexible approach to working hours (weekend work applies).  The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate that they have consistently achieved and maintained the highest levels of customer service and standards in their current or previous roles.  They must work well under pressure and have excellent communication skills. A minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

Concierge

The ideal candidate must possess an excellent command of the English language and have great presentation and communication skills. The successful candidate must meet and greet guests in a friendly & courteous manner and assist reception with check in’s, rooming and check outs. A full clean driving licence is essential.
