Emergency Procedure for The Old Stable Mews

Fire Safety
The following information is provided for your safety in the event of a fire. Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with it now.
The Old Stable Mews accommodation units are fitted with fire extinguishers and blankets in the event of a small oven fire.
Please do not attempt to tackle the fire unless you feel it safe to do so.
The Old Stable Mews accommodation units are also fitted with smoke alarms. On hearing the alarm, please evacuate your building and alert Reception.

On Discovery of a Fire
1. If you discover a fire, immediately raise the alarm by contacting Reception and the emergency services.
2. Evacuate the building and assemble at the fire assembly point. The Old Stable Mews fire assembly point is situated in the rear car park.
3. If you raised the alarm, please identify yourself to the person performing the roll call as soon as you arrive at the fire assembly point. Information regarding the location of the fire could prove very valuable to the fire brigade when locating the source of the fire.
4. Shut the door when you leave. This simple action will reduce the spread of deadly smoke throughout the building.
5. Do not go back to retrieve your belongings, or enter the building unless you have been advised to do so by a Duty Manager or a fire officer.
6. You will be notified when it is safe to return to your room, so until then please remain at the fire assembly point.
