Accommodation & Reservations
- How do I book a stay at Castle Leslie Estate?
You can book directly through our website here or by contacting our reservations team. We recommend booking early, especially for festive packages, as they sell out quickly. - What types of accommodation are available?
We offer a range of experiences:
- The Castle (21 bedrooms)
- The Lodge (50 bedrooms)
- Old Stable Mews (12 x 2-bed self-catering accommodation)
- Is early check-in or late check-out available?
Check-in is from 4:00pm and check-out is 11:00am in the Old Stable Mews and 12:00 noon in The Lodge and The Castle. Early check-in/late check-out may be available on request, subject to availability. - Are children welcome?
Families are very welcome. The Lodge and self-catering options are particularly family-friendly, while the Castle provides a more tranquil, adult-oriented experience. - Is the estate open year-round?
The Estate is open from 1st January – 31st December and closes from 20th – 27th December.
Dining
- What dining options are available?
- Snaffles Restaurant – award-winning, gourmet dining in The Lodge
- Conor’s Bar & Lounge – relaxed dining and drinks located in The Lodge.
- Castle Private Dining – available for groups and private events.
- Afternoon Tea – is available daily from 1:00pm – 3:00pm at The Lodge.
- Do you cater for dietary requirements?
Yes, our chefs are happy to accommodate dietary requirements with advance notice. - Is breakfast included in my stay?
A full Irish breakfast is included when staying at The Lodge or The Castle. Self-catering accommodation is on a room-only basis. - What time is breakfast served until?
Breakfast is served from 8:00am – 11:00am daily.

- Do I need to pre-book activities?
Yes, we recommend pre-booking activities to avoid disappointment. - Can I explore the estate if I’m not staying overnight?
Yes, day visitors are welcome to dine, enjoy afternoon tea, book spa or equestrian activities, or attend special events. - Are pets allowed? Yes, we welcome dogs to the Old Stable Mews at Castle Leslie Estate.
- Is the estate accessible for guests with mobility needs?
Castle Leslie Estate is dedicated to the comfort and convenience of all our guests, particularly those who use a wheelchair or may require special assistance to fully enjoy their stay with us. We have accessible bedrooms in The Lodge, located on the ground floor and Desmond’s Room in The Castle, located at basement level. In our spa, The Victorian Treatment Rooms there is a ground floor treatment room that can accommodate guests with mobility issues. Our relaxation rooms are also accessible and on the ground floor. The Equestrian Centre at Castle Leslie Estate is accessible from The Lodge or via the main gates into the yard. The Equestrian Centre has a wheelchair ramp and accessible toilet in the viewing gallery.

- Can I get married at Castle Leslie Estate?
Castle Leslie Estate is one of Ireland’s most romantic wedding venues. We offer civil ceremonies, blessings, and receptions in a variety of enchanting settings. - Do you host corporate events?
The Estate offers unique facilities for team-building, conferences, and private hire.

- Where is Castle Leslie Estate located?
We are located in Glaslough Village, County Monaghan, just 80 minutes from Dublin and 60 minutes from Belfast. - Is there parking available?
Yes, complimentary parking is available for all guests. - Do you have car charging points on the Estate?
Yes, we have charging point at The Lodge and The Castle car parks.
- Do you provide airport transport or transfers?
Yes, transfers can be arranged in advance at an additional cost. - Is the estate wheelchair accessible?
Yes, The Lodge and many areas of the estate are accessible. Some historic Castle rooms may have limited access due to their period features. - Do you offer festive or seasonal packages?
Yes, throughout the year we curate exclusive seasonal packages. These are announced via our website, newsletter and social media. - How can I hear about upcoming offers first?
We recommend joining our mailing list to receive advance notice of packages, seasonal escapes, and exclusive offers. You can sig up to our mailing list HERE. - Are Electric Scooters and Drones allowed on the Estate?
Neither of the above items are permitted on the Estate. This is for the health and safety of our guests.
- Are fireworks permitted?
Fireworks are not permitted on the Estate due to a number of important reasons. The Estate is home to our ‘equestrian friends’ and a wide variety of wildlife. Fireworks are not considered healthy for the environment. We take sustainability very seriously at Castle Leslie Estate, and fireworks release a host of contaminants that affect air quality and can contribute to climate change.
